Happy birthday Nectar's!  The iconic Main Street venue is celebrating 40 years of business  

 

Nectar's is responsible for the birth of Burlington's thriving music scene and it all began in 1975 when a group of local then-unknown musicians known as Phish took the stage. Today Nectar's is  best known for their gravy fries and live performances from both local and national artists.

 

Nectar's has begun to carry out their legend into the future by kicking off months of celebration with big-voiced Burlington singer, Josh Panda on February 21st. The birthday bash will continue into the coming month when the man whose name inspired the name of Phish, drummer Jon Fishman, joins Jamie Masefield, Tyler Bolles and Doug Perkins take the stage for a special performance on Saturday, March 26th.
